Barcode Scanners and Readers

DED offer a wide range of barcode scanners and readers to suit applications from retail to warehousing. The entry-level handheld CCD

barcode scanners are ideal for small users looking for low-cost, yet reliable barcode scanning. The comprehensive laser barcode scanner

range consists of both single-line, ideal for small to medium demand barcode applications and multi-line versions, ideal for heavy

throughput applications.

For barcode scanning applications requiring the reading of data where it is not possible for the barcode scanner to be connected to a PC,

DED offer a range of wireless RF handheld scanners and barcode data reading terminals. All scanners are available with either an RS232C

Serial or Keyboard Wedge interface with the Metrologic/Honeywell range also featuring a USB option and custom interface cables for

connection to a wide variety of host equipment. Software for the Metrologic / Honeywell barcode scanners includes OPOS drivers and

various Windows based configuration software designed for the setup and testing of barcode scanner and interface parameters.

MS9590 VoyagerGS Series Handheld Laser Barcode Scanner / Reader

Metrologic's MS9590 VoyagerGS ™ is the newest addition to the Voyager®

series of hand-held laser barcode scanners / readers. The MS9590 scanner is

the first Voyager product to feature trigger scanning in a new ergonomic form

factor that maximises comfort and reduces fatigue and is an excellent

replacement for a symbol LS2208 barcode scanner.

Additional product features include a rapid barcode scan speed of 100 scans

per second, extended depth of field, CodeGate data transmission, manual

trigger operation, automatic in-stand detection, data formatting, configuration

with MetroSelect or MetroSet2 via RS232 or USB and a 5-year limited warranty.

MS2020 Stratos Series Bi-Optic Omni Directional In-Counter Laser Barcode Scanner

The MS2020 Stratos barcode scanner addresses the high volume point-of-sale

scanning needs of supermarkets and discount mass merchandisers. Designed

for high-speed checkout, maximum up-time and quick return on investment,

Stratos is the world's first six-sided 360 degree bi-optic in-counter barcode

scanner with below counter dimensions of 100mm. The significance of Stratos'

space-saving form factor is in world markets that prefer seated check-out

operators that previously were limited to 5-sided scanning options.

In addition to its class-leading 68 scan line pattern and aggressive 6000 scans

MS3580 Quantum T Series Omni-Directional/Single Line Barcode Scanner

Metrologic's QuantumT is a compact, durable, accurate, and reliable

omnidirectional laser barcode scanner, fully enclosed with a protective exterior

boot. Featuring an optional single line barcode scanning mode, QuantumT
